VC Tech Stack (DWP's)

Being a solo GP is very difficult. We at DWP need software tools to help leverage my time in order to be able to source at the velocity that we do. Below is the list of our tech stack that we find to be working.

Sourcing:

Affinity: VC-specific CRM. Its best feature is its gmail integration and its data pulls from crunchbase.

Linkedin Navigator: My new favorite outbound sourcing tool. Create geo-focused lists of software companies and then go to town prospecting!

CrunchbasePro: Another great way to generate lists of funded software startups. Also good to collect funding data for specific geographies.

Loom: We use customized videos to stand out in our outbound prospecting. It is better than typical cold emails. Our response rate is 25-30%.

Workflow/Collaboration:

Notion: Team collaboration tool for investment committee meetings, pipeline reviews, and marketing check ins.

Dropbox: Document sharing repository.

Marketing:

Substack: Blog

Medium: Premium Blog

Squadcast.fm: Podcast studio

Captivate.fm: Podcast hosting

ShieldAI: Linkedin post/engagement analytics

Buffer: Automated posting

Investor Relations:

Docusign: Investor signatures (no we don’t need carta)
