The latter half of this week I spent at a board meeting at Statera in Boston, MA. Despite it being a pain in the ass flying 6-hours across the country from San Diego it cemented the fact that face to face interactions are required in this business. Zoom calls dehumanizes the process of catalyzing the founder/investor relationship and I am glad that I’ve had the opportunity to spend the time to try to enhance her experience in company building. My cholesterol is higher from all that lobster and butter- good thing i’ve got some long runs and bike rides this weekend. Enjoy this weeks reads and listens!
